Job Description:
Chicago Territory Sales ManagerThis territory manager position
is responsible for driving sales of Famous Supply's brands and/or
additional plumbing and HVAC products while interacting with
existing customers and developing new prospects. This territory
includes the state of Illinois, with specific focus on the Chicago
metro market.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Establish and maintain regular contact with plumbing and HVAC
contractors within assigned territory.
- Introduce/promote plumbing products to plumbing
contractors.
- Introduce/promote HVAC products to HVAC contractors.
- Conduct product training as needed.
- Analyze and evaluate territory regarding sales trends, market
pricing, and market-specific product needs.
- Actively participate in customer-specific demand and inventory
planning.
- Conduct on-site inspections as required regarding customer
complaints about quality, installation, or performance.
- Engage regularly with existing customers to foster long-term
relationships and promote opportunities for repeat business.
- Any other tasks assigned by VP, National Trades.Required
Experience and Skills:
- Requires strong communication skills, both written and
verbal.
- Experience and comfort in making cold calls.
- Strong skill set relating to relationship building, listening,
follow-up, and time management.
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing and/or
HVAC fields.
- Experience in B2B sales is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Famous Supply is a
