Job Description:

As the Land Acquisition Director for the Chicago Market, you will be the senior leader of a team of Land acquisition department employees, maintain developer relationships, and actively negotiate large land deals.
Primary Responsibilities

• 
  
• Manage and direct a team of Land Managers and Supervisors capable of meeting NVR's unit sales and profit objectives for Chicago.
  
• Cultivate new developer relationships and maintain existing relationships.
  
• Review contracts from direct reports with Legal and Finance to ensure compliance.
  
• Actively negotiate and structure large and complex deals in the core market area.
  
  Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • At least 6 years of demonstrated land acquisition leadership experience.
    
  • Bachelor's degree.
    
  • Effective team manager.
    
  • Skilled in land deal structuring.
    
  • Finance and Accounting background preferred.
    
  • Excel proficiency.
