Job Description:

• Job Details
• All RNs are expected to float to their capacities in their hospitals, IMCU can float to M/S, ICU can float to IMCU, M/S can float M/S units.
• Patient Ratios IMCU 1:4-5.
• Flexibility: Be prepared to float based on census and acuity.
• Some IMCU may float to ER Hold.
• IMCU units vary from regular Stepdown to CV Stepdown to Neuro Stepdown.
• CVIMCU requires Cardio experience recently.
• Neuro IMCU requires neuro specific experience in the last 3 years.
• All IMCU and higher specialties are required to take an EKG Strip test and Medication tests on 1st day.
• Should they not pass they will be granted 1 remediation, passing is 80+% (We provide study guides for all of them).
• M/S RNs will have to take Adult medication tests and Peds Medication tests (We provide study guides for these too).
  • Job Requirements
  • Indiana License or compact multistate license in hand at time of submission.
    • Schedule Information
    • 5 Days of RTO max allowable per contracts/ no holidays.
    • No more than 2 call offs per 13 week contract/ can result in termination.
      • Additional Details
      • Registry Float Positions for Community Foundation of Northern Indiana candidates will be required to float to all 3 facilities (CH, SCH and SMH).
