  • Job (1) RRT - 12 HR Night Shifts - Children's WI - Milwaukee Campus
  • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
  • Shift Requirements: 12 hour NOC shift 1830-0700
  • Primary Location: Children's Wisconsin -Milwaukee
  • Guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week.
    • Job Requirements
    • AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NRP
    • Minimum Experience: 3-5 years Peds critical care or NICU
    • Must be able to function on PICU and Level IV NICU
    • Required Skillset: PICU Experience, Vents-Servo I and Servo u, LTV's, Astral and Trilogy, Oscillators, Trach patients, knowledge of invasive and non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, BiPaP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, INO
    • Charting: Epic Clin Doc, preferred
    • Manage respiratory care patients, vent management, intubations, extubations, suctioning, treatments
      • Schedule Information
      • Contract Length: 13 weeks
      • Start Date: 12/2
      • Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend, occasionally every 3rd
      • Holiday Rotation: N/A
      • Float Requirements: Primarily PICU and NICU, but may need to float to general med/surg acute care units, EDTC
      • On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
      • Call-Off Policy: Client can terminate contract with 2 weeks' notice if census dictates
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 24 bed peds cardiac ICU, 24 beds peds medical ICU, 24 beds peds surgical ICU, 70 bed level IV NICU
        • 2-3 RCP's in each of PICU, 3-4 RCP's in NICU depending on census
          • Additional Details
          • Scrub Colors: Any professional scrubs
          • Jewelry (body piercing/body adornment): A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn.
          • **Flu vaccine required. NO EXEMPTIONS**
