Job Description:
The University of Chicago s Department of Obstetrics and
Gynecology seeks full-time Clinical Associates for renewable
two-year terms. Appointees will be responsible for providing direct
patient care, including coverage in the Labor and Delivery Unit at
Ingalls Memorial Hospital (IMH), supporting the gynecology
inpatient service, and providing outpatient care at the Ingalls
ambulatory clinics. The appointees will be members of the
Obstetrics and Gynecology call groups. These positions do not
require teaching or scholarly activity.Compensation (including a
generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on
qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified
applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold
or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and
3) be Board certified or Board eligible in Obstetrics and
Gynecology. We especially welcome applicants with training and
experience in general obstetrics and gynecology and a special
interest in building a high-quality obstetrics and gynecology
