Job Description:
A company is looking for a Travel Buyer II to manage hotel and
convention center negotiations based on client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Research and develop negotiation strategies for hotel and
convention center bookings
Manage contract compliance and participate in major program
negotiations
Foster relationships with industry partners and serve as a subject
matter expert
Required Qualifications
College degree or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years in hotel
sales/service or meeting planning)
Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience preferred
Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) or other industry certifications
desired
Experience with contract drafting and interpretation
Strong knowledge of domestic and international hotels and
destinations
