SWISS LATHE MACHINIST

Dynomax, a family-owned company, designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles since 1986. We are expanding and are seeking an -experienced -Swiss Lathe Machinist -to set up and run our Citizen Swiss and Samsung lathes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blue prints, work instructions and other engineering information to determine the machining process and sequence of operations - - - -
• Measure dimensions and tolerances using hand measuring tools - - - -
• Machine parts to specifications on a 7 axis Citizen Swiss Lathe or Lathe with Live Tooling - - - -
• Set Up and adjust holding fixtures, machine tools, and work material in accordance with work instructions - - - -
• Check and -maintain machine cutting tools for adequacy in operation - - - -
• Calculate and monitor speed -and feeds of the machine - - - -
• Ensure work pieces are properly lubricated and cooled during the machining process - - - -
• Conduct proper inspection of first-run and in-process parts - - - -
• Perform accurate record keeping - log information on scrapped parts and complete production routers accordingly -Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent - - - -
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T - - - -
  • 5+ years experience as Swiss CNC and Lathe (live tooling) Machinist required - - - -
  • Read and understand G and M codes - - - -
  • Ability to set-up and machine a variety of components - - - -
  • Read and understand machine programming code - - - -
