As a Senior Risk Associate at Capital One, you will apply your detail-oriented and analytical skills to support reporting and analysis needs within ESRA and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Program framework. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing departmental metrics and reports to support decision making processes. And you will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibilities, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.General Responsibilities:Reporting: Develop, prepare, and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports for the department, including Weekly Inventory Reporting, Monthly Business Review (MBR) reporting, Quarterly Compliance Review (QCR) reporting, and other performance and organizational health reporting, as necessaryAnalysis: Identify data trends and provide insights for investigative and operational improvement and solve for them using analysisExecution: Ensure data in reports is accurate and delivered timelyPartnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including IT, Operations, Advisory and others to gather data and understand reporting needs, as well as offer oversight to enterprise wide objectives such as controls and change managementStrategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving using data analysis and analytics.Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: He/she should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to businessStrong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials to present reports in a clear and concise mannerTraining & support: Provide training and support to colleagues on reporting toolsClear results orientation: Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. Previous consulting experience is a plusBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.At least 1 year of experience in reporting or data analysisAt least 2 years of experience with Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google SlidesPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field1+ years of experience in Structured Query Language (SQL)1 + years of experience using TableauAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.Illinois (Hybrid On-Site): $92,800 - $105,900 for Sr. Risk AssociateCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
